We start our dive into the stupidest things you can read on BG today without archive diving with this gem. Although the link is to a post suggesting switching to Thief, which has a native Triple Attack trait, instead of Dancer, which does not have innate Triple Attack, to clear up whether the Auric Dagger, that both jobs can use, has a hidden Triple Attack +% effect the entire thread is verifiably retarded. Number Two! Although I'm not a huge fan of idle speculation in general, trying to decipher and predict what's to come in the Version Updates is of some interest to me. I usually try to stick to understanding what's in the POL blurbs or just coming up with the "we want to fix BLM EXP" sort of comments from Vanafest or whereever and figure out how they could do that. (Failing pretty epically on the that particular point.) But the second most retarded thread on BG today is an argument over "How/why/what(/thing?!?) some spells work with Scholar's AoE abilities while others do not?!?" I linked to the last post as the time of writing, but if it's not locked I'm sure it'll continue to be sufficiently retarded to earn its spot at number two. Number the First! And a drum roll please! Thank you, Mr. Youtube Uploader! The height of stupidity on BG today is... an Internet Petition (automatically extremely retarded) to fix Thief only getting Dual Wield I in next month's Version Update. Which isn't even out yet! (Unless you're reading this in the future.) TTFN! Check back tomorrow when I probably won't do a most stupid forum thread post! Unlucky number: 9. Seeing as this is the only interesting thing from the update as far as TP-burning for one-handed melee DD vs. Hasso (you self-identify as WAR/DRK/DRG/SAM? Are you a tool? It's either piercing Hasso or non-piercing Hasso) is concerned (although that supposes anyone still cares about FFXI), let's anticipate what the effect might actually be. Thoughts: If this really reduces melee attack delay a la Sword Strap, maybe it will be exactly the same form of delay reduction as that from dual wield. (Why not?) If Blitzer's Roll actually stacks with dual wield and the bonuses are good, this would benefit dancer and ninja the most.One-handed melee jobs get more from Blitzer's Roll even if it reduces weapon delay separately from dual wield, but it doesn't mean it'd be bad for two-handed melee jobs (depends on the actual bonuses), just that Fighter's and Samurai would be better. n-hit builds are overrated. What if it's "job ability haste"? Wouldn't it be funny if the bonuses were large enough to obviate the use of Hasso and Haste Samba? Among other things that would follow: why are we using two-handed jobs for TP-burn then? ![]() Courser's Roll and Blitzer's Roll, "Support" COR and "DD" COR12 days ago ![]() 12 days ago When I first met Starfaye and the request of Unctgtg to help her climb the quintessential tower of doom, she was a little lowbie Red Mage who was still in awe over Penta Thrust’s massive damage, to TWW mobs no less. I am merely explaining the system before people go out and bash FFXIV to death with uninformed bull shit from trolls or non beta players. Part of this is theory based on experience till further testing can be made in open beta and the other is fact on the system. SE has came out a few days ago to try to stop the riots from getting worse, and they have only stalled them by giving once again only part of the information on a system, and the rest of the system to figure out. Whether their method of handling the situation or not is not my point in this post. If you have been paying attention to XIV at all you'll know that the game is based around character growth. Part of this character growth is coming from the surplus system. To understand the system you need to look at it as an endurance system. Like in real life, we have an amount of physical activity that we can take. The harder the we push ourselves the quicker we will become fatigued, and to recover from the work we need to step away from it. After sometime of rest we will be able to push ourselves again, and this next time of pushing ourselves we can go longer, before becoming fatigued. Now lets think of this is XIV terms. For example Kaiyoko, my character, is exping on Dodos at which she receives 400 skill from her hard work every kill. She will become fatigued over the course of 5 hours because of the work on her body. Once she passes her limit and starts to receive surplus she can gain less skill because of this. She pushes herself to the point of not being able to gain any skill because she is too fatigued, and needs to rest away from her current class. During the time she was fatigued she was working towards increasing her endurance. This can be represented by something called Surplus _Insert_Class_ Rank. This is shown below in the picture below. Kaiyoko goes out the next day to gain class skill. She is not as fatigued as before, but is still gaining a little bit of surplus. Her body has not fully recovered at this point, and pushing it any more will not be as beneficial as resting longer. During this time she once again increases her Surplus _Insert_Class_ Rank. Now Kaiyoko decides to stop till her body has fully recovered. Kaiyoko the next day heads out to exp once again on Dodo's, she is gaining skill at a rate of 400 per kill. Now today instead of only 5 hours before she becomes fatigued, Kaiyoko is able to exp for 7 hours because her endurance has improved. Ok enough of the story telling, but this is the best way for me to give an example of what I'm trying to explain. I think there are parts of the system that are still to be discovered before people should be making judgment on it. I agree that it is limiting, but if you are able to increase the time before surplus effects you it will really help. I'm not sure if the rank has anything to do with the amount of class exp till passing into the surplus/fatigued state, or if the rank is attached to the rate at which you recover. But surplus seems to take longer the higher this rank is from hitting the surplus effect and the point which you receive 0 skill. You also seem to recover faster if Surplus Rank is higher. Below I posted on BG sharing my experience with this to support this (skip down aways if you don't care, END OF BG POST marks the end of the section)- START OF BG POST Below is my experience with surplus, and might explain what exactly this "Bonus" part of surplus is.. Don't read if you wanna cause drama, just posting my experience to help calm the riots. Spoiler: Hide After reading this post on the NA forums the whole thing makes slightly more sense why there is a rank to surplus as well. In beta 3 I was able to reach rank 30 MAR w/o a problem. Kuro and Soap had exped with me a decent amount and we had noticed I would always gain quiet a bit more Skill then them when we all had surplus. I was normally 2-3 levels above them as well. One difference that I had early on to them was surplus rank. It started at 1 and rose to rank 15 on the first day on Phase 3, while my MAR rank was 17. They at this time had reached rank 15 CLASS with a surplus rank I believe highest i heard from Kuro was 8 at the end of day 1. I had started leveling before they logged on I believe and reached surplus to the point of only gaining 10% rank exp, while they had gained quiet a bit more. The next day the servers were shut down and we we're able to log on the day after our surplus had turned back yellow but their surplus was hitting them harder then me even though I had gained far more rank EXP then them. The next week after this possible reset on Tues. I was able to level 2 days straight w/o having any surplus, and finally hit it again when I reached level 1/4 of the way into 24. Then I continued to exp through surplus reaching rank 20 surplus. I stopped for a day to work on smithing and was able to get that to 13 where I hit surplus for that, and grinded through that till rank 3 surplus. The next day my surplus had went away again to white after about 18 hours of being away from MAR. I hit the surplus threshold quickly again, but it did not seem to reach cap again at this point no matter how much I exped. I grinded constantly till 27 at this point and then decided to switch back to smithing rank 15 with rank 3 surplus. After a day away from smithing surplus was just as bad as the day before. The next day I returned to MAR where I started at white till 28 where I hit a 10% skill gain because of surplus. Returning to smithing it was white now, but I quickly returned to yellow with surplus. I decided to grind at this point to close to 29 as I could. I hit surplus of 50% where I was having a hard time finding mobs that would give decent rank at this point so I was barely able to reach 29 with 1k rank into it. The next day leves/exp reset and ended up grinding through mine and others leves to 30 where I never reached surplus till about 2/3 way through 29, and it stayed at 10% of my rank exp at that point till 30. The exp from phys always was declining never increased just how they said, so not gonna bother talking much about that. Did not seem to decrease as fast as rank though. This leads me to believe that the surplus rank either increase the exp/time between each threshold or increase the rate of recovering from surplus. If this is true the best thing to do is grind like crazy to get your surplus rank high. I'm gonna test it in OB to makes sure, but through my experiences I'm fairly confident surplus acts as you body wearing down. However, the more you wear your body down, the faster it can recover and more endurance you have. So there seems to be a definite way around it. END OF BG POST Until I provide more testing in Open Beta I obviously can not prove this theory, but I'd say this is a start for us into figure out more to it. ![]() SE Drops More Bombs: Job Abilities.Odin You Are Not Your O's Kote by Ringthree12 days ago The update notes on Wednesday were vanilla. I don't know if they rushed something out to make sure we had a decent teaser, or if they enjoy teasing us, but Wednesday left me a little flat. Friday, gave me a raging hard-on. Let's get down to business. Job Abilities: The quality of new Job Abilities now runs the gamut from interesting to jaw-dropping. 1. Divine Caress - Interesting, but probably of limited usefulness. This is probably only really helpful if it completely prevents the enfeeble from landing. If you use Divine Caress before removing paralyze or slow and it prevents them from landing again, then it is great. If it just increases resistance like a normal job trait then it isn't really useful at all because you will still need to remove the enfeeble. You are not often in a position where you would not remove a enfeeble because you know that it will wear earlier than a full strength one. 2. Saboteur - Jaw-dropping, but dependent on potency. If this ability helps RDM to increase their potency enough then they can use more skill and accuracy to make sure they land. If this ability increases the duration enough then it can be used with Elemental Seal. If this ability increases the potency over current effect caps then it will just be incredibly strong. That is a lot of if's. 3. Spur - Interesting. My guess is that this will be nice, but it will really depend on the strength of the pet's attack and how much the extra TP can benefit it. 4. Tenuto - Standard of Living. Bards will finally be able to give themselves the songs that they want instead of constantly overwriting their own songs. The delay and duration look like they match Pianissimo. 5. Soul Jump - Interesting. Shares a timer with High Jump. Has the same effect as High Jump. Looks like this is just the same thing as Spirit Jump and Jump. This one is kind of vanilla unless the effect provided by the Wyvern is huge. 6. Blood Pact: Ward "Earthen Armor" - Interesting to Jaw-dropping. This really depends on if it is a mini-Perfect Defense, or if it is just a bit of damage reduction. The wording gives me hope that it is used against something like Meteor or 10,000,000 Needles or whatever. 7. Blood Pact: Ward "Tidal Roar" - Interesting. Attack down is something that is handed out left and right by SE. This may have it's uses especially with how well effects seem to scale for Summoners now. Right now, it just sounds like any other attack down effect. 8. Efflux - Who cares. It's a Blue Mage JA. No one cares. At least no one should care. I suppose it is one more thing to stack on before Cannonball. :) 9. Courser's Roll - Jaw-dropping. Increase "Snapshot", which for the uninformed is Ranged Attack haste. Sounds awesome, but also probably the death knell for many a Ranger out there. More speed, more damage, more hate, more death. Thank god for Animus Minuo. 10. Blitzer's Roll - Jaw-dropping... or not. Decreases swing delay. This could be amazing if it doesn't cause a decrease in TP per swing. Hopefully it is like Hasso and Haste Samba and not like Sword Strap. 11. Feather Step - Interesting. This has to be pretty strong to be of interest, especially considering not a lot of people put DNC on high level mobs. DNC already has a lot to do, so I don't know if this is going to be of much interest at all. That is it for today, more on the spells and traits soon. Tags: Ringthree, Job Abilities, September 2010 Update ![]() Goals completed, Changing times and a New world to explore12 days ago Over the course of my FFXI career I have worked hard to experience and complete all content that Square has thrown at us. For the most part I would say I've completed everything besides relic/mythic and post 75 cap removal. Every mission, ever salvage, every assault, ever BC, every dynamis, and so on... However, one thing has gotten to me over time, and I'm sure it has gotten to others as well. That thing is AV. It had been my long time goal to beat AV before I would quit the game. That goal was accomplished 8/13/2010 with my linkshell Dafunk. With that being said I've lost a lot of motivation to play anymore :x... I'll probably get it back when next update comes. However, there is another endeavor that I have decided to devote my time to. That being endeavor being FFXIV's beta. It's been an exciting experience to play around in Eorzea. I've been playing for quiet sometime now in the beta, and can finally divulge information publicly. That being said I'm going to be using this blog for my FFXI still, but I've also decided to show off Eorzea the best I can through maps, guides, and more to show to those that can't be in the beta what's out there. There will probably be more guides to leveling/crafting then anything else to come soon of the Limsa Lominsa areas because I know those the best through beta. When open beta starts I will be trying both areas to give out guides for leveling to 20 for both areas. ![]() Job Update Details Part I Examined12 days ago So today the first part of the update's Job Adjustments was announced. For the most part it isn't anything particularly interesting. I guess that depends on your jobs as Endark might be awesome sounding to Dark Knights or something, but I can't get too excited over it. So let's get started. OK.. The WHM, RDM, BRD, and DRG things were already basically known/understood. They just have names now. Sound nice to have, but nothing game changing. BST gets something to make regular mob pets better? BLU gets a higher level Chain Affinity that can't be used for Skillchaining? And SMN gets a couple new BPs that sound unremarkable? Yay. COR getting delay reduction Phantom Rolls looks like it'll be a nice addition to zerging things. People love Dancer for Haste Samba all the sudden, so I'm sure they'll like COR now too. (The COR probably gets to sit outside for the actual zerg still though. :-P) DNC gets a Step that lowers Critical Evasion rate...whatever that means. Let's hope the next section is better. Nope, it's the list we got two days ago now in super improved box form. People on BG cried about the new Job Traits being a list instead of a table. Square-Enix must have been listening. They're still generally disappointing, unfortunately. Moving along... Finally, some meat! Enlight for Paladins. They got Phalanx last update. They get an Enspell this one. Blink/Stoneskin/Aquaveil for 90, 95, 99? Probably. :-P Red Mage gets some stuff finally, Square-Enix probably should give RDM something after pissing all over it last update. Addle will do...what? I'm guessing something between Silence and Paralyze. A chance mob's casting will be interrupted or some minus MAB effect. Refresh II...you're going to be disappointed. Or so I think. I'm guessing it won't be much more MP efficient (without Composure) than Refresh. 4-5 MP/tick. Gain-VIT/MND are probably single target spells that boost their respective stats. Not bad. Between the MND+ spell and the new JA we could see some potent Slows/Paralyzes. WHM gets boned. Well, mostly. Cura II...do people use Cura I? I know "it's the most MP efficient Cure in the game!!!", but I really don't see it used very often. Boost-VIT/MND will probably be AoE versions of the Gain spells RDM gets. SCH gets Enmity +/- spells! Or so I think Animus Augeo will increase Enmity and Animus Minuo will decrease it. OK, I guess. If they last five minutes or more they'll be nice to have around, but nothing amazing. I think they'll work like the merit ability Strategems as a secondary multiplier on Enmity allowing over/under the -50/+100 caps. The Black Magic section makes me LOL a bit. Firstly, because "We're getting Fire V this update at 85, so I've got my Agni's Staff ready!" is all over BG. Aero V is unexciting...nobody has potency merits and few have a TotM Wind Potency Staff. Square-Enix also seems to have decided -ga4s for players needed a weird name. As Stoneja and Waterja look to be AoE from the picture. The only way I could see them replacing Thundaga/Blizzaga III is if these have a Cure V-esque Enmity reduction on them. Which would still just make them situational. Break? Really? It won't work on NMs at all most likely. If it actually works half as well on regular mobs as it does on players it'll be awesome, so I'm pretty sure it won't. Dark Knights get Endark. Will it be worth casting? If its pretty potent on things that aren't resistant to Dark elemental damage, maybe. I'm not a Dark Knight and we don't know how strong it will be, so its impossible to say. Bards are getting some pretty nice songs. Sentinel's Scherzo is the new damage reduction song, and could be useful if its potent. For the most part I think people would still prefer Marches or Ballads. Maybe with Ballad III it'll be an option though? Foe Lullaby II finally catches up BRD with WHM on single target Light elemental sleeping ability. lolCarol IIs. Ninja is getting two new Ninjutsu spells. Myoshu: Ichi & Yurin: Ichi. What do they do? I really have no idea. Googling the names/tools leads me to believe they're self-buffs. I'm guessing Attack Bonus and Delay Reductions. I could, and probably am, completely wrong about this though. Ninja could really use some boon to get it competitive with, well, some other job at something. The last part is other jobs leveling into new-to-them spells. The nukes were pretty obvious. Just a "will we get X spell at/before 85?" question. I had suspected Regen III would end up on Scholar eventually. And I'm a dick, so I bought up a bunch of Regen III scrolls. (It drops in Treasures and Tribulations though, so I doubt it'll end up being really expensive.) I'm still holding out hope for Raise III/RR3 for Scholar too at 90. Aspir II is a welcome addition to Black Mage. A second MP draining spell in addition to Refresh from /RDM is looking to reduce /healing time significantly. The Bluegartr forums had a quick post that documented some of the testing behind the medal- namely how much MAB it gives based on the moon phase. They were pretty spot on, but the testing seemed to be left incomplete. There was also a lot of conflicting information regarding how the medal worked on other websites, like FFXIclopedia and FFXIah, so this was an open invitation to complete the test and set some numbers straight. Results I won't bore you with the details of the testing, but the results can be summarized with the following diagram: Some points to take note: The MAB gains is not tied to the actual moon percentage, but is instead linked to the moon phase. Both Gibbous and Crescent stages are split into two moon phases, but the in-game command, /clock does not differentiate between the two. AnalysisAs of now, this is the best neckpiece for damage in the game, of course, depending on the moon phase. After all, +10 MAB is nothing to scoff at, even if it doesn't happen all that often. But we don't want to carry around situational pieces of equipment like this, so how does it interact with the other neckpieces in the game, namely the Uggalepih Pendant and Goetia Chain? (Or if you're RDM or SCH, Lemegeton Medallion +1). Based on my previous post comparing INT and MAB, I know that (at least for me) 1MAB is roughly equal to 1INT. Using this as a rough guide, we can say that Goetia Chain adds roughly 3.8MAB, while Lemegeton Medallion +1 adds roughly 2.7MAB. From here, the analysis is easy- Artemis Medal is king until the MAB bonus reaches +6, where you will want to start swapping in Uggalepih Pendants. After that, you will continue using Artemis' Medal until the MAB bonus reaches +3 before swapping in Goetia Chain, or +1 before swapping in Lemegeton Medallion +1. Still, notice that even against a Goetia Chain, an Artemis' Medal will still be better more than half (7/12ths) the time! That's all fine and dandy, but the next question comes from all Spellcast users- how do I script all this?Unfortunately, the designers up in Square-Enix and their infinite wisdom (/sarcasm) made it such that the moon cycle is not actually symmetric. That is to say, if you wanted to use the moon percentage to determine which neckpiece to use, there isn't actually a set number. The last day on the Early Waxing Gibbous has a moon phase of 71% and the first day of the Late Waxing Gibbous has a moon phase of 74%. The problem is, the last day of Early Waning Gibbous is at 79%, while the first day of Late Waning Gibbous is 76%, so no matter what number you pick, you will miss out on some optimization somewhere. In pseudocode, the process might look something like this: equip "Artemis' Medal" if(moonphase < 73){ if(moon phase < 30) { equip "Goetia Chain" } if(MP after cast < 50%) { equip "Uggalepih Pendant" } } As for the actual code, well, I'll figure this xml jazz out eventually. :) Of course, adjust the numbers if you're not using a Goetia Chain. In addition, I haven't quite pinned down the transition times between Waning Crescent or Waxing Crescent subphases, so that's something to look out for. 26th Aug 2010![]() 13 days ago Updates, eh?… I was really hoping for a level 90 cap, but I suppose they still haven’t quite grasped the revolutionary Abyssea Alliance EXP quite yet. 85 is decent though since it means I can still delay having to level Ninja since that’s at 42. I got lost in sky and, being the only healer, my LS wiped to Mother Globe. They ended up leading me to the pile of bodies and we got things together. Sky finished on a good note by the time everything was said and done though. So now I'm hanging out in Port Jeuno, when I get a tell from Tidis about "turtle time." I'm always up for some turtle action, so we set out to try our luck. The last few times we did it, we had help. This time, it was just us as the damage dealers, and Caldar came to lend us the power of his treasure hunter. Naturally, Chukwa's not up when we get there. 20 minutes of running around and still nothing. Eventually, it spawns and we get the claim. Of course we would; no one else was there. Shortly into the fight, we get a visitor. An Elvaan BLM named Skimpy. I'm off in the distance, so I can't see what's going on. Not to mention, I'm focused on trying to kill this damn turtle. I end up getting closer for some casts, and I catch a bit of the conversation he's having with Tidis. Basically trying to find out what items we're after. Since I already had the bow, the collar was the only item we wanted. Well, Tidis wanted it, and that's why we were there. So when Skimpy finds out about it, he says "bah" and goes on his way. Although, he doesn't leave. Instead, he follows us around. So it begins. He was waiting for us to mess up so he could get a chance. I'm a carebear, and I realize this. If I saw someone fighting an NM, I'd stick around for a ToD, and if they die I'd raise them if I could and either help them out, or ask if they mind me trying. Yes, I'd really do that. I don't expect anyone else to be like that. What I do expect is that people have the damn decency to wait until we've wiped before attempting to claim an NM that you clearly see us fighting. Oh no, not this guy. We get this turtle down to 40%, and I run out of MP. I tell Tidis that I'm resting, and for them to maintain hate. Chukwa goes yellow for just a moment, and Skimpy hits it with Sleep II. Now as I understood it, you have to be high enough on the monster's hate list in order to to claim it from someone else. That's how it is in Terrigan or any other place I've seen. If something aggros you and another person tries to hit it, the monster still chases the initial target until the other person does another action to move them higher on the hate list. How the hell Skimpy got it with a Sleep II just boggles my mind. Regardless of the mechanics, the little fucker took the NM. Go ahead and say the famous "yellow is fair game" bullshit line that so many people like to spout. Yes, yellow is fair game when no one is bothering it. When said enemy goes unclaimed because you're out of range for half a second, then that's not fair game. You know you're trying to steal it; stop hiding behind bullshit technicalities. You might say that I'm "butthurt" or whatever the hell people say now, but I'm just flat-out pissed. I don't care what kind of "game mechanics" you try to say in order to defend yourselves. What was done was wrong and pretty childish. Skimpy's from Armada, an HNM shell here, if I'm not mistaken. Guess what? Chukwa's not an HNM. It's an NM on a 30 minute timer. Are you really so desperate that you can't wait for 30 minutes while we kill this thing and go about our way? Do you honestly have to lurk around the corner and try to take whatever opportunity you can to take an enemy that you clearly see someone else fighting...and actually winning? Those are redundant questions, because his actions clearly shout "YES" to every one of them. Luckily for us Skimpy is about as smart as his name implies. He wasn't actually damaging Chukwa. I almost want to say he was attempting to just hold it, because spamming Bio II would never kill it. It wasn't long before he made a mistake and got killed. So we took it right back. I'm normally a passive person, and I don't like confrontation or the "eye-for-an-eye" way of thinking. However, this wasn't done to just me. If I were there by myself and this shit was pulled, yeah I'd be just as pissed, but I'd just say hell with it and come back later. That wasn't the case. This was done to my friends, and that made this very personal. Now we're back in the game. Skimp gets up, and now has friends. Tidis takes a look and finds that they are also with Armada. These two were a bit more aggressive with their "bitch tactics" that Skimpy was. Staying right behind Tidis, blocking his path, and just being a general annoyance. Dizzmal comes out to help, along with Caliburn. Neo and Shaan are heading towards us to give a hand too. I made some mistakes and got myself killed, which caused a domino effect and Chukwa goes unclaimed again. As expected, they took it. On that claim, I was pissed, but not as much as before. We screwed up and they took advantage. Lo and behold, they died again and we took it right back. Shortly thereafter, I just said fuck it and started casting whatever. Of course I died again, but I wanted to make damn certain that I hit it hard enough that it wouldn't go unclaimed. The rest of the guys took it down and we got another bow. Perhaps judging an entire linkshell based on the actions of 3 people is harsh, but I'm a believer of guilt by association, or in this case, bitch by association. So to the Armada linkshell (and especially Skimpy), if this is the kind of player behavior that you condone and practice, all I have to say is fuck off, and fuck you. (Ninja Update)13 days ago After a few Lightningsday alliance parties I finally finished off my Accuracy Katana yesterday night! I stuck around until the day changed, and then headed to Ru'Lude Gardens. DEX+6 Accuracy+12 goodness! It's kind of strange to have a better-than-Relic/Mythic-weapons-used-to-be Katana. Now to finish off ~700 WS on Vermin and my Ninja's Magian stuff is complete (for now). It seems that so many people are up in arms about a “fatigue” (threshold) system being implemented in FFXIV, but I think there is a huge point that is being missed. This game is not FFXI 2.0! I figured it was nigh time to share my thoughts on the differences between style and functionality in gear, starting with a little teaser: Taken from Unctgtg’s blog. I have no [...] Tags: Final Fantasy XI ![]() Making it up as you go along.14 days ago Is anyone really interpretting this shit as anything else? Can you? First of all, 85? Really? The level cap's was supposed to be hitting 99 the update after September's. Going to 90 would have been nice. While Abyssean EXP is rad and all it still takes several fucking hours and having to do it twice for each job when once would have worked is fucking annoying. Second, 85? What the fuck? 85 / 2 = 42.5. 42 < 43. 43 is when we get subbed fucking Refresh. Did we really all level subjobs to be ready more than a year before Square-Enix dribbles out the version update? Also, what the fuck is this: Subbed...Regen? We've already got the Dipper Duly pictured. I seem to recall, I don't know, this? Is "3" code for 3 years? Square-Enix has been squeezing blood from the Wings of the Goddess rock for quite a while now. How fucking long is it going to take to roll out the level cap increase? Hey, Square-Enix, if you're going to do something in the most completely ass way possible that nobody is expecting (for some reason) maybe fucking tell somebody? If you're going to post "The Future of FFXI!To level 99 and beyond!" Don't post fucking graphics indicating a three step increase when you're planning FUCKING FIVE? Abyssea = 15 Zones? So with the surprise of this morning we're apparently getting 15 Abyssea zones. Anyone want to guess what the other 12 will be? Maybe we didn't get WotG Tavnazia, but we'll get Abyssea-Tavnazia? /fucking-annoyed Tags: FFXI, ffxi update ![]() So quite14 days ago |
